Cancellation & Refunds
VINC sells render credits — prepaid units spent when you generate images, video, or audio. Because each render consumes real third-party compute the moment you request it, credits behave differently from ordinary goods. This page says exactly how.
The short version
- Unused credits in an active purchase are refundable within 14 days of purchase, on request.
- Spent credits (renders you started) are not refundable, because the compute they bought has already been consumed — except where a render failed through our fault, in which case we re-credit automatically or on request.
- Subscriptions (if offered) can be cancelled any time and stop renewing at the end of the paid period.
- Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.
Failed or defective renders
If a render fails — the pipeline errors, the output never arrives, or the service was materially defective — the credits for that render are returned to your balance. Our metering reconciles automatically; if yours didn't, write to support@vinc.ai with the project and approximate time, and we'll put it right. Dissatisfaction with the creative quality of a successful render (generative output varies by nature) is not a defect, but tell us anyway — it makes the product better.
EU & UK consumers — right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA or UK, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from distance contracts. For digital services this right applies to the unused part of your purchase: when you spend credits on a render, you expressly request immediate performance of the service and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for the portion performed. Withdrawal for the unused remainder: email support@vinc.ai within 14 days of purchase stating that you withdraw; no form is required, and we'll refund the unused balance.
India consumers
Cancellation and refund requests, and any consumer complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, can be raised with our Grievance Officer — details and response timelines on the Grievance Redressal page. We acknowledge within 24 hours and resolve within 7 days.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — almost every issue resolves faster through support@vinc.ai. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended under the Terms of Service.
Waitlist & free usage
Joining the waitlist is free and creates no payment obligation. Promotional or trial credits have no cash value and are not refundable.
